“Wish Man” star, rugged Australian heartthrob Andrew Steel (“Home & Away,” “Wonderland,” and Batman in “The Justice Lease”) as the title character of “Wish Man,” Frank Shankwitz. Steel, who is NIDA trained and heavily featured in the Australian Shakespeare Company stars as the enigmatic creator of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Frank Shankwitz in the inspiring bio-pic “Wish Man,” and was handpicked by the real “Wish Man” for the role and is himself the President and Co-Founder of the international film festival with a social conscience.

Directed by Theo Davies (“5 Hour Friends”), and based on the life story of Frank Shankwitz, an Arizona motorcycle cop in the era of “CHiPs” who would become the founder of the global charity the Make-A-Wish Foundation; because in this film - one boy’s wish changed a man, and one man’s wish changed the world.
