Rising kitchen superstar and wife of legendary comedic icon Andrew Dice Clay, Valerie E. Vasquez, combines her Mexican and Italian background with her innate talent to create new recipes, as she wins over America's hearts and gains praise and accolades from professional chef judges Curtis Stone ("Top Chef Masters") and Cat Cora ("Iron Chef America") on FOX's newest unscripted cooking series"My Kitchen Rules" (airing Thursdays at 9/8c on FOX).
The series pits celebrity duos (Lance Bass, Brandy & Ray J, Brandi Glanville and Naomi Judd) against each other as they cook and critique each other's food in Hollywood homes; the teams take turns hosting intimate dinner parties with a menu designed to impress their rival competitors and two professional chef judges, Curtis Stone ("Top Chef Masters") and Cat Cora ("Iron Chef America"). With escalating rounds of competition, the celebrity duo with the lowest score at the end of each round will be eliminated.
A Los Angeles native, Valerie started her career off in the fashion industry with her own clothing line and is currently a successful hair stylist and makeup artist. Growing up cooking with her family and creating recipes from an early age, Valerie is no stranger to the kitchen and with her "famous pasta sauce" and "secret salsa," this Latin beauty not only adds a breath of fresh air to "My Kitchen Rules," but is sure to be a standout this season and set the competition on fire!
